In March and April, the Port Townsend Food Coop invited Pet Pals to be one of the three non-profits to participate in their Beans for Bags program for those two months. In this program, shoppers who bring their own reusable bags can ask for beans to drop in the jars provided. We are grateful to all the Food Coop shoppers who chose to fill our jar – to the tune of $577.70!
