Emergency Medical Care for Needy Pets

Ginger’s Fund provided financial assistance for emergency medical treatment for animals whose owners could not afford to pay all or part of the necessary veterinarian services. It is currently not an active program.
A new group called Pet Helpers may offer an alternative for you.
Ginger’s fund was established by Marsha and Sol Wiener in memory of their beloved golden retriever, Ginger. Money from Ginger’s Fund was allocated at the discretion of local participating veterinarians who determined the amount of funding needed at the time of the emergency and billed us directly for a portion of the cost. At this time, we are unable to continue to fund these services.
